So for some reason my obsessive compulsive side kicked in. started cleaning around the house, stocked old college books in boxes and i threw out half of our kitchen stuff that was not of use anymore.
I'm not really sure what came over me, am i preparing for the new year?lol i just felt i needed to do something about items in the house that aren't really needed. i didn't want things to look the same.
Then i saw these plastic transparent wares from food take outs (tupper wares) all piled up on a shelf, i have no idea how or why they were so many of them. i didn't want to throw them all so i kept maybe 10pcs, that's when i came up with the idea of making it an organizer box for little things.
so i started arranging some stuff from stationary, medical supplies, pens,post it's,tape,nails,hooks& sewing tools then kept them in one plastic case each. that way we could easily see what was inside too.
the circle ones i used for scissors and my small plug in night lamps, (yes i have 3) i have no idea why i also have a lot of these.
I was so relieved to see them all neatly kept hehe it was like they're brand new stuff all over again. talk about recycling. i just loved the idea.
I wanted to put my accessories in one too but i think i'll need a bigger box. one for bangles and one for rings.
this was also the moment i realized how many pens we actually had on the computer table and we never use them! things you discover when cleaning huh
so here's how they look, my project "organizing day" is done-
